Really Yummy bread grilled with olive oil, tomato, garlic and some salt. Felt that the tomato, garlic and salt gave it a very distinct taste which is actually quite addictive. One of the favourite tapas I had.
Croquette with jamón. Smooth potato mash in it and well fried on the outside.
Chewy and springy octopus. Octopus on its own tasted fresh and succulent but wasn’t fragrant and dressing was a little oily.
Chorizo toast was pretty good to my surprise. I thought chorizo would be too salty too my liking but didn’t taste that salty actually and it wasn’t tough or too dry, just of the right texture.
Butter prawns which tasted fresh and really fragrant especially with the fried garlic. But thought it was just a little too oily for me.
Scallops were really fresh, huge and not overcooked. Seared on the outside, these big juicy scallops taste quite fragrant.
Lamb looks so succulent from the picture and indeed it is well cooked. Not too dry and really huge chunks of meat there. The parsley leaves help to make it feel less greasy.
Meat balls were juicy actually when my fork pierced through it. It’s taste wasn’t exceptionally outstanding and tasted pretty ordinary actually.
Tapas Brindisa has a michelin guide sticker and is a relatively good place for Spanish tapas. Maybe cos Spanish people love their food to be heavy tasting, I felt the tapas tasted a little salty actually and have to keep drinking water though my dinner companions didn’t think so. Quite a noisy and definitely a very busy restaurant. You are only allowed to stay at the restaurant for 2 hours and then make way for other customers. A recommended place for good tapas in London I feel. About 30 pounds per person.
