Tanjong Pagar Station
If you want to get away from the crowd and satisfy your green tea craving, then tsujiri is the place to go to. It’s one of the better more authentic Japanese sweet shop that I have been too. Desserts here, at least for what I’ve ordered, are not too sweet. Got a matcha chiffon ($4) that is very soft, fluffy and not dry at all. It is actually a little moist and tasted really matcha. Fragrant and slightly sweet only. It can be eaten on its own, if not you could go it with some of the red bean at the side which is equally good and sweeter. Also got the yuzu float ($6) and thought it was a very good drink. Yuzu was refreshing and the whole drink wasn’t too sweet. A good place for a matcha hangout indeed.
Verdict: A good restaurant (worth a visit)
